The Ports beat Bakersfield 7-2 and Luke Appert had a team high four hits in the game.  He drove in a run and scored while Cliff Pennington and Chad Boyd each drove in two runs.

Ben Jukich had a good enough start but because most of the Ports runs came later in the game, he didn’t get a decision.  He gave up just one unearned run on three hits with four strikeouts in five innings.  Steven Bondurant picked up the win with two shutout relief innings.
