Bradley Davis Hit Hard In Bakersfield Loss

Bradley Davis had a tough start and he dropped to 2-2 on the season. He gave up four run on six hits with five strikeouts in five innings of work. 

Luke Appert was the hitting star in the loss.  He doubled and he drove in two runs in the 7-4 loss.

Cliff Pennington Scores Four Runs in Ports Win

The Ports doubled up Inland Empire 10-5 and Cliff Pennington crossed the plate more times as anyone.  He went two for four with two walks and he scored four runs.  Tommy Everidge also had a great day at the plate and he went four for four with three RBIs and a run.

Bradley Davis got it done on the mound with four solid innings of relief pitching.  He gave up just one run on six hits and he struck out three and the win pushed his record to 2-1 on the season.

Ports Edge Inland Empire 5-4

Luke Appert hit a big three run homer that ended up being the difference in the Ports 5-4 win over Inland Empire.  Jose Pineda also hit one over the fence and his homer was a solo shot.

Bradley Davis was hit hard in his start and he gave up three runs in 3 2/3 innings.  Steven Bondurant picked up the win with two innings of no-hit relief.

Bradley Davis Pitches Five Solid Innings in Ports Win

Bradley Davis picked up his first win of the season in the Ports 7-4 win over Visilia.  He gave up just two runs on seven hits with five strikeouts in five solid innings.

Jose Pineda hit a two run homer and Raul Padron finished with two hits, two runs and an RBI.  Cliff Pennington also had a nice game with three hits and a run.

Ports Lose Third Straight Game in Thirteen Innings

The Ports blew two run lead in the late innings, had to score a run in the tenth to keep the game going, yet still lost it in the thirteenth 8-7 to San Jose.  Tommy Everidge led the way at the plate for the Ports. He went three for five with a triple, a homerun, two RBIs and three runs.

Starter Michael Madsen struck out six in five innings but he gave up four runs in a no decision.  Bradley Davis took the loss.  He gave up the run in the tenth and then the run in the thirteenth in his four innings of relief.
