Casey Myers hit a walk off solo homerun in the bottom of the tenth inning to push the Rockhounds to a 3-2 win over Wichita. Landon Powell doubled and scored a run and in all, the Rockhounds were outhit 9-3 yet still won the game.
Steven Sharpe picked up the with two innings of shutout relief. He gave up just one hit and the win improves his record to 2-0 on the season.
Ryan Webb dropped to 0-2 on the season in the Rockhounds 5-4 loss to Tulsa. He gave up five runs on ten hits and a walk with four strikeouts in seven innings.

Andy Shipman gave up five runs (three earned) on seven hits and a walk with five strikeouts in six innings of work in the Rockhounds 7-1 loss. The loss drops Shipman’s record to 2-2 on the season.

Landon Powell hit a bit three run homerun and Eduardo Cornejo doubled home a run in the Rockhounds 4-3 win in the second game of a double header with Arkansas. Kevin Deaton threw five decent innings and Jeffrey Gray picked up the win with two innings of solid relief.
The first game was pretty ugly as the Rockhounds lost 9-1. Josh Alliston was pounded for six runs in 1 2/3 innings and the lone run came on a sac. fly by Casey Myers.
