Cougars Held to Six Hits In Loss to Clinton

by @ 11:55 pm. Filed under Christian Vitters, Gustavo Rosendo, Trevor Cahill, Kane County Cougars - June 2007

You know you’re usually going to lose when you have more errors (3) then you have runs (1) and that’s just what happened to Kane County in their 8-1 loss to Clinton.  While the pen gave up the bulk of the runs, it was starter Trevor Cahill who took the loss.  He gave up three runs on seven hits and two walks with five strikeouts in six innings and the loss drops him to 3-2 on the season.

Gustavo Rosendo was the only Cougar with two hits.  Christian Vitters drove in the only run in the ninth inning.
