Trent Peterson fell to 0-2 on the season in the Rockhounds 6-3 loss to Springfield. He gave up four runs on seven hits and four walks in 6 1/3 innings.
Richie Robnett went two for four and he drove in two runs. Cliff Pennington went one for four with two runs.
Benjamin Fritz improved to 8-3 on the season with a nice start in the Rockhounds 3-1 win over San Antonio. He gave up four hits and two walks with two strikeouts in six shutout innings.

Trent Petterson dropped to 0-1 on the season with a rough start in the Rockhounds 6-3 loss to Frisco. He gave up six runs on eight hits and two walks with four strikeouts in six innings.
Vasili Spanos was the hitting star in the loss. He went two for five and he drove in a run.
Luis Ramirez fell to 4-3 on the season with a tough start in the Rockhounds 9-4 loss to Frisco. He gave up seven runs on eight hits and one walk with three strikeouts in seven innings.

Frisco racked up four ninth inning runs but it wasn’t enough as the Rockhounds walked away with a 7-5 win in the first game of their doubleheader. Danny Borrell picked up the win with 2 2/3 innings of shutout relief while Richie Robnett provided the offense with a grand slam homer.
The second game didn’t go as well as Midland lost 6-3. Andy Shipman was roughed up and he fell to 4-3 on the season with a rough start. He gave up six runs on nine hits and three walks with four strikeouts in seven innings. Gregorio Petit went three for five with a double and a run.
Michael Madsen improved to 5-2 on the season with a nice start in the Rockhounds 4-2 win over San Antonio. He gave up two runs on three hits and three walks with five strikeouts in six innings.
Vasili Spanos was the hitting star in the win. He went two for three with two doubles, two runs and an RBI.
Mario Ramos had a rough start in the Rockhounds 8-3 loss to San Antonio. He gave up five runs on ten hits and one walk with five strikeouts in 5 1/3 innings.
Myron Leslie provided most of the offense in the loss. His double in the eighth inning drove in two of the Rockhounds three runs.

Landon Powell was the hitting star. He went two for four with a homerun, two RBIs and two runs.
Eduardo Cornejo had a career day in the Rockhounds 10-2 win over Corpus Christi. He was a perfect five for five with a double, a homerun and six RBIs.
Andy Shipman improved to 4-2 on the season with the win. He gave up two runs on six hits and one walk with five strikeouts in five innings of work.
Ryan Webb dropped to 0-4 on the season with a tough start in the Rockhounds 9-4 loss to Corpus Christi. He gave up seven runs on eight hits and one walk with four strikeouts. Five of the eight hits he gave up were homeruns.
Brian Snyder was the hitting star in the loss. He went two for five with a double and an RBI.

Luis Ramirez had a nice start in the Rockhounds 5-2 win over Wichita. He gave up one run on six hits and four walks with one strikeout in 6 1/3 but he didn’t pick up the decision. Dan Denham picked up the win with 1 1/3 innings of shutout relief.

The Rockhounds scored two runs in the first thirteen innings in their game against Wichita but then they exploded for four runs in the fourteenth inning alone to beat Wichita 6-3. Landon Powell provided most of the offense in the win and he went two for six with homerun and three RBIs.
Steven Sharpe picked up the win and he improved to 2-0 on the season. He gave up one unearned run in 1 2/3 innings.
