The Cougars lost their second straight game and this time, they were held scoreless in a cold shortened seven inning game.  The only hitter who seemed to be able to get anything going was shortstop Michael Affronti, who was a perfect three for three.

Inoel Deaza took the loss.  He gave up two runs on three hits and two walks with three strikeouts in 3 1/3 innings.
